How Much Should A 10 Day Trip To Paris Cost?

How much should a 10 day trip to Paris cost? Posted 28 January 2011
If you're going to Paris during February and your flying from the East Coast of USA How much should you expect to spend in total average for 1 person. How much will the plane tickets be, food, hotel (assume average hotel), tickets for the attractions like Eiffel tower, museums and other things there and everything else that I may need for a 10 day trip. Also please give me prices in USA (dollar) currency and how many euros is equal to 1 US dollar.

Same as above...

But on average 1 USD=0.6Euro

Today it is:
1 U.S. dollar = 0.664407681 Euros
(GOOGLE.)

But ya, you need A LOT of cash for any decent vay-cay, and Paris is Definitely no exception!!! I would say ATLEAST 6,000 USD so that's around 3,986.45 EURO.
6000 U.S. dollars = 3 986.44608 Euros (GOOGLE)
Dang not much Euro, gosh darn this economy, we need to get that Dollar Value back up there!

Best of luck!

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Check Currency Exchange rates on the Web anytime. However, be aware that anywhere you exchange currency will charge a fee, so the base rate you see on the Web is really only a CPA's concept. The best rate would be at your own bank at home, the worst on your trip when you are in a hurry and don't know the area. This is a cost of the trip, too.

No, you cannot avoid this exchange fee, no matter what. So try to spend all your foreign money on the trip. Whatever remains can be saved for the next trip. Don't need to cash it in until you want to. Don't worry about understanding another currency; spending we ALL understand.

One euro= about $1.50 these days

Have your credit card with you and be sure to take precautions in using it. Before you leave, tell your credit card company where you will be going and when. They will deny the charge unless you do this. Take the International phone number of the credit card company, make photocopies.
