Main Purpose of the Role:


Implement the advanced multiplayer features for our upcoming game on the server backend side as well as the game client code and user interface.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for software architecture, programming multiplayer and server.
Work alongside with the game group and the Online Designer.
Report to the Lead Server Coder and Development Manager.
Skills and Knowledge Required:

BA in informatics or maths (or similar).
Excellent informatics or maths skills.
Strong C++ and C# skills.
Very good knowledge of MS Visual Studio 2005.
Knowledge of database programming and tuning.
Knowledge of technologies for high availability and scalability in server environments.
Ability to incorporate into an existing code.
Experience Required:

At least 2 years experience in game development.
At least one successfully finished project.
Experience in client/server programming in networked environments.
Behaviours/Competencies:

Ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
Highly organized and self-motivated.
Team player.
Fluent English.
Enthusiastic gamer in RTS.
