We at Hitiki are travel freaks. We are a small open-minded, young and dedicated team which is scattered across the world. Hitiki is a place for professionals who excel in working independently with a passion for internet technologies and travel but who have a desire to work from home. Wherever that home may be.

Hitiki means community in North Marquesan, a Polynesian language. Our aim is to create an online multilingual travel guide, which is based on Wiki principles and integrates user experiences, tips and knowledge using state of the art WEB 2.0 applications. As an open culture project the venture has only a partly commercial background.

At the moment Hitiki is looking for a human resource manager to remotely recruit new remote team members. Besides the maintenance of accurate job descriptions, this involves all aspects of finding the best remote workers for Hitiki. You will be working from any location you choose with a descent internet connection and you have to be able to remain flexible by working beyond a 9:00 5:00 schedule (this is of course related to our geographic dispersion).

We expect you to:
- have a passion for the Internet;
- be able to work independently;
- ideally have travel experience;
- ideally have a Bachelors Degree with emphasis on human resources or related field;
- have 2 4 years of experience in human resources;
- have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
