Hi everyone,
I have booked to stay in Paris from the 29th December to the 2nd of January, and also purchased tickets for Disney land.

This may sound silly but i'm actually rather worried about coming to Paris after hearing about all the muggings. And looking at this video http://www.break.com/index/dude-mugged- ... -bus1.html just makes me worry more. I've done quite a bit of searching and mugging is mentioned quite a lot.

Someone at my work initially mentioned it, which sparked worry in my brain and got me searching. Can anyone here let me know whether this is true?.

It would be my first time of visiting paris and disneyland, and I do want to go. But the fear is eating away at me. Hmm

Hey jbennett!It's pretty normal to be worried about crimes like this. In my opinion though, Paris is just like any other city in the world; which means that there are occasional petty crimes here and there. Just a tip, don't act and look as a visitor. Even if you are, try to act/look as normal as you can as to prevent these minor crimes. Some people take advantage of the tourists that comes to the city.
