Moving To Paris From Boston

Moving to Paris from Boston Posted 02 December 2009
Hi All,
In February 2010 I'll be moving to Paris from Boston and I need some advice. I'll basically be moving there without a visa. So, technically, after 3 months I'll be there illegally. Financially it won't be a problem because I have a steady income even though I'm not/won't be working there. Here's my question.... will it be hard for me to find a long term apartment rental (6 months - a year)? What would be the best way for me to go about looking for an apartment while there?
Thanks

Hey RaeRae126! In my opinion, i think it would be a better idea to go apartment hunting once you get here. You can stay in a hotel for a couple of days first until you can find a unit that will work well with our budget and with your standards. Also, since you're going to stay there for a long period of time it will be a good idea to know more about Paris so that it will be easier for you to fit in. Here's a pretty helpful site about Paris: http://ellaparis.com/
