How often does it snow in Paris during these months (Jan - April)? Is it, on average, extremely cold during these months? Any suggestions on clothing during this time?

As a whole. the weather in Paris is warm. Still, if you are interested in whether it snows, I should tell you that yes, every year you are expected to see snow in Paris, not in big quantities, though. Most probable snow months - January-February. In March and April the weather already is obviously getting warmer.

This is a typical picture of what you can see in early March in Paris. I can say the weather is quite warm that month, and snows are almost impossible.

Hey RKR! Yes, it does snow in Paris. But the snowfall will usually just last for a couple of days, none of those extremely heavy snowfall. The months where snow falls are the months between December through March. I just have to say that snow in Paris makes the city even more romantic than it already is!
