Global leaders and maybe not only they are fighting to prevent the next economy depression. But what seem to be affected the most are the ecological projects. When money are in demand all over the world the ecology is getting even less sponsorship then it did in the past. This entire situation is very badly timed, as it is now when the world is facing the greatest climate changes, and is in a great demand for some options to ease the pollution. The lack of financial resources is the worst scenario for the environment. Can worldwide banks and governments “bail out” ecological projects or companies that deal in this industry in order to make it possible for the natural vales of the environment to be saved and conserved?
Ecological problems took the slow lane because of the world crisis. Everybody is concerned about the profit while the environment is probably the last thing taken into account. Still, the financial crisis influenced positively the ecology, since people began to save more and thereby cause less harm to the environment.
Many factories either closed or went bankrupt due to the financial crisis. This means less CO2 emissions. If it keeps going on, the environment has real chances for surviving.
On the other hand, the oil prices are low now. This determines the increase for oil demand, which in practical manner means that people who left their cars in garage will remember them and can afford to go for a ride. This will increase pollution, won't it? Just following the logic...
