Hi looking to send my mam and friend to paris in september for 5 nights, want a cheap hotel in a lively area with things to do and see? any ideas, i was looking up hotel antin saint george and also beaugrenelle st charles hotel, dont no if either of these are good hotels in a good location, does anyone no anything about them or any other hotels??

There's a place right next to the Place Maubert whose name escapes me. It's in a 19th Century Haussmann-type building, and it has a price list in the window; the prices start at 70 euro. I haven't gone inside, but it's really worth it, I think. It's right NEXT TO the metro station, on the southern side of the Boulevard St. Germain. There's an HSBC atm on the corner. I couldn't find it on any web maps. I don't know why. It looks very decent. I was living on the other side of the plaza for two weeks, always kicking myself for paying more for a much worse place.

According to me their are many cheap hotels in Paris but you select the hotel as you like from booking.com. Booking.com is one of the most useful website for booking the hotel room by online process.
