There is a huge climbing hall in Centre Européen d'Escalade (Thiais, Val de Marne)

One of Europe's largest rock-climbing halls with over 1200 m2 of climbing face and more than 160 routes. An exceptional location for training or introducing the family to rock-climbing.

Here is some info in french:

I guess wall climbing is like a local Paris habit of French boys, isn't it?

I have been to Centre Européen d'Escalade a couple of times to climb and I can certainly recommend it. Very godo facilities and well organised. A good place if you are interested in climbing.

If you catch the rock climbing bug, you'll soon be looking for places to climb all over the world. Taking a climbing vacation to Europe should be on your list. In fact, you should take a LONG vacation!
