planing on going when it's cheaper mid April 2009. Expecting the weather to be bad, any other surpises for me in Paris in the springtime? I've been to Paris in the summer of 1998 (for the world cup) and I am planing on staying to over a week, 8 or 9 days, how ever long I can afford.

April can have poor weather, but so can each month, and when the weather is fair, it is the perfect time for Paris.
The town is not crowded yet, hotels and hostels have space for guests and there is no rush on restaurants either.
And when it is sunny it will not be hot, (as it can be in summer.)
