My friends and I are leaving for Paris at the end of this month. We are spending a week in Paris, a night in Normandy, and a week in Dublin. We could especially use advice regarding Normandy in January...as it is harder to travel there in winter.
Is your question about what form of transportation to use, where to stay, or what to see? I'm not sure what you are looking for. I'm not sure how you are traveling.
Some places to go in Normandy: Caen has a museum called the Memorial to Peace - it's about more than just world war II and the normandy invasion.
Bayeux has the Bayeux tapestry which I thought was very interesting.
Of course there are the WWII D-day beaches. I think the best two museums are the one at Arramanches where they built the artificial harbor and the one at the american cemetery. The one at the cemetery is free.
