Love and jealousy

Postby tulaka » 19 October 2008

What do you think about love and jealousy? Some say that true love can't include jealousy and that these two things are incompatible, others say vice-versa - love means jealousy and is the proof that a couple loves each other.
I back the first opinion, because to me, love firstly means trust, while jealousy appears when there's no trust towards each other. If you trust your love, you know he/she will never cheat you.

If you are being jealous on your partner this prooves your love and your wish to maintain him. Trust is another talk.

Jealousy is a problem in love. I had an ex that was very jealous and I got tired!

This means he really loved and cared about you, barcelonaar. You should have shown the same signs of concerns if you were too much tired of this, he would have stopped then.

No, he didn't! I think he was obsessed with me, but he didn¡t love me. When we broke up he threatened me and tried to hurt me! And HE broke up with me, not me.

Well, that's the problem of jealousy surplus. Am not even sure if it can be called jealousy. Try to avoid such relationships, it may end not good at all. Jealousy is good as long as it is limited.

Jealousy is like fire
If you get hotter it becomes more
If you cool down
It fades away

I follow this believe. Do you agree?

A good way to overcome jealousy is to know where it comes from. It might be simply caused by things we saw in movies/soap operas, which are not happening in our real life.

true, girls are often influenced by soap operas. They think the entire life is nothing but soap opera and act just like actresses act. What actually happens is totally different from movies.

you are right tulaka. Brazilian/Spanish soap operas have their part here. But you can't forbid a woman to watch them. Such soap operas are ways to relax, women believe.

Nobody talks about forbidding them. A man can simply do other more pleasant things with his wife/girlfriend instead of simply letting her watch these movies. Things should be done in such a way so that with time the woman will refuse herself watching these movies.

I think jealousy is a lack of confidence on oneself

true... but you can't blame anybody for being jealous. It's a feeling that combines love, angriness, lack of confidence etc. It's pleasant and at the same time it kills you...

that's no way to think and act. It's happening because Russinas don't have democracy, but, if they did, the husbands who hit their wives/girlfrieds would have long time ago be closed to jail.

Try to sleep in a way that when the sun shines it hits directly your eyes. This means you'll have to sack out with your head set to west. This will offer you more natural energy and harmony with the nature.
