I don't understand why can't gals make the first move when it comes to physical contact? Things like holding hand, cuddling etc

Because in general it's something guys are always ready to get into, but girls usually have more reservations. I don't really know because it's always the opposite in my case. I've had a few times where something has been initiated but I stopped it because I'm not made for that.

i don't think that it's more so the girls. generally in society, guys are supposed to be the dominate force in that they are taught to always take care of the women, treat them with respect, and generally be there for them. i think that all over the world, society was mainly created by men for men, and they are usually the ones that are in power. it's generally accepted that guys do anything, yet that is changing. i feel that it's the person's drive that causes them to actually grab someones hand when they feel that the relationship has reached a certain point, or if they have the balls, or basically if they are drunk enough..hahaha.

Lucky you, tulaka. I believe in the future we'll witness the opposite situation of what is happening now in approaches. Men begin to care about their beauty and the girls seem to be less resistant to their feelings, that's why they will make more approaches for getting acquainted/inviting for a date.
