Well I am not from Paris but you can have some expert suggestion to staying in Paris:

I'm not in Paris but may have some suggestions from experts to stay in Paris.

The best place to stay in Paris is St Germain, which is very close enough to walk to most of the sights, and vibrant area with enough bars and restaurants, 2 minutes to walk from the Seine.
