How is the weather in Paris around January? We are arriving on the 6th and staying about 6 nights. What do we need to pack?

The only advice I can offer is to keep an eye on the weather up until the day you leave, but you can expect it to be on the cool side. It snowed two years ago around the 1st of January and the temperature was a -6 C the morning we arrived. Last year it was fair and mild, only dropping into the lower 30���s ( 0 C) on New Year���s Eve, followed by a little rain the next day, but no snow.

In January it's cold enough, not only in Paris, but in the entire middle-Europe. I would recommend to buy a warm jacket. Thereby you'll insure yourself from getting ill.

You'll get lucky if you get to see snow on the main paris boulevards. It's just such a beautiful sight
