my boyfriend is thinking about renting a car.
is this a good idea? or using transportation is a better idea??
since this is our first trip in paris, i really need your opinion..^^

If you are staying in the city, there is really no need for you to rent a car. You would be better off taking the fantastic public trasit system. The metro is very easy to use and extremely accessible. Lot of taxis too.

well, many things depends on how long you will be traveling in Paris. Personally I, don't prefer renting a car, since it's like a pain in the @.s
I like to be free.

I agree with Ice, renting a car in a foreign country can be a headache, mostly because of the slightly local traffic rules and the local police.
