Hello all,
I'm considering relocating to Paris on a local contract. I'm having a hard time finding information on salaries though. Does anyone know, or can anyone recommend some sites where I can find, salary range for a mechanical engineer with 10 yrs experience in Paris?

I think it should be something about 32k - 45k euros per year.

For 10 year experience? In the EU capital?
Are you kidding? I thought it should be something like 80 - 120 euro.

- What are the average salaries, benefits and tax deduction opportunities for the following jobs (3-10 years of experience) for Paris, Airlines/Aviation industry:

Country Manager
Airport Manager
Customer Service Assistant
Sales & Marketing positions

- And do these salaries/benefits differ from salaries in other industries (I mean marketing, sales, customer service jobs)?

ten years experience means much for an engineer. Your salary will be a good one - about 3,000-5,000 euros, of course if you speak French.

That is not a very good salary. Believe me. A lot of expenses are related to your stay in Paris…

If you intend to live in Paris for the rest of your life, then, remember, you will advance in your career, be patient and the wage will reach good figures.

It looks like you have some pretty good experience to back you up with your work.. I think with that kind of experience, plus a good command of the French language, it can get you to places especially if you work hard enough. In a city as booming as Paris, it is can be a challenge to deal with but if you get pass that you will be earning big money for yourself..
