i am going to Los Angeles from CDG with Air France can anybody tell me the good and bad points?

well... it's a hellishly long flight. other than that I'm not sure it's better or worse than any air travel these days. Though the last time I flew AF they had a slightly nicer plane - individual monitors instead of one big screen.

Air France is a modern airline business. You will be satisfied with their services, since they render almost any of them.

I flew only once with Air France, they had pretty great leg room on their plane, I don’t remember what model was it though.
