Right in cartier there are 2 neighborhood boulangeries, cafes, tabacs and convenient full groceries stores Shopi Gourmet, Franprix priceleader, and couple of epiceries (small grocery stores) on my street. Brilliant nearby green market with everything a must visit Thursday and Sunday mornings till around 1pm

ADDRESS: 15 rue Saint Sebastien a convenient,quiet Street. 11th arrondisement next to LE MARRAIS and BASTILLE. 2 steps to METROS: ST SEBASTIEN FROISART (purple line8) and metro lines Metro Richard Lenoir (orange line5), and Metro Saint Amboise (light green line9)also very close. There is also a bike rental/or delightful guided bike tour place a step away and also an adjacent indoor swimming pool 3 euro entry, if you're tempted.

Take Metro direct to Opera or Famous Grands Magazines Shopping; 2min direct Bastille or Republique; Go to Hotel de Ville(then stroll to Notre Dame)etc.

As requested,a few phrases about the apartment:

Karl's apartment was in a fantastic location; a safe neighborhood and walking distance from all the major sites. It was very clean and comfortable and the perfect size for 2-3 guests. The price was as good or better than what you would pay for just a hostel, and yet the conditions were so amenable.
