Why not try to make it into something positive? If something funny happens, say something like 'I had no idea this was so fun', or be a little extra energetic and be happy that you are trying something new, she'll notice.

Age does not matter. I've even talked to my dad, WHO IS 60! My mom is 14 years younger then my dad, age is not of importance to ANYTHING. The only thing age says in this world, is to show how long you've been on this world. That's all it's referred too.
