there is a very well now expat magazine published every friday in paris (also website), i cannot mention it here, but if you search google, im sure you can find it, sorry for the lack of details, hope this helps.

if you are coming as a student, you should look at cite universitaire, you need to book in advance, but could be a reasonable option for you, good luck
