I like to talk about food, books, travel and movies, it usually gives quite a good picture of the person. What a pattern :) Suppose there's a person who doesn't care what he eats, doesn't read books and watch movies because has no spare time and doesn't travel for any other reason. What you could s...

IMHO laws are always made to restrict freedom. There's even an ugly word which is used against people who notice the wrong part and talk about it - they are called anarchists.

Actually it is said that this law gives more freedom ;)

I would live in a place not far from metro station.

15th arrondissement is little away from all the tourist places, but you have access to everything and you can see the Eiffel Tower everyday :) There you can get that feeling of being Parisian. ;)

Re: Truffle market full of fakes

It's strange that truffles are still so expensive, with current level of biotechnology they would have made mass production a long time ago, may be there is a conspiracy here? Actually black truffles are farmed, here is an article about it: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/01/dining/01truf.html?ex=11...

Nearly 200 arrested in Paris after labour law protest

Paris - Police arrested 187 people in Paris as a group of protesters went on a rampage following Thursday's demonstration against a new youth labour law

Are people just having fun, or it is something serious? It seems strange that a labor law will cause such protests.

These cartoons are like child drawings - nothing offencive in my opinion.
There are many more really offencive cartoons about Jesus.
