The Kyoto Protocol is a solution what we need and what we have been searching for to stop the pollution. But what did it happen after it was announced? More than 180 countries signed it. But what is more interesting and sad in the same time, is that USA only signed the Protocol with no further actions. As long as it does not ratify, their signature is pure symbolic. This is a totally unfair position comparable to smaller countries and weaker economies. USA is in fact one of the leading countries to pollute the atmosphere and it is crucial for big countries to ratify it, as otherwise such Protocols have no value, if the entities that are guilty the most aren’t acting seriously.

USA is a big country and as long as it doesn't take concrete actions to prove the signature the Protocol is as useful as milking a bull. USA is the first country in the world after pollution emissions and thereby must be the first to strive for saving the environment, but it doesn't. That's really sad and disappointing.

Actually, US is not the only country that hasn't agreed witht the Kyoto Protocol. Australia hasn't supported the idea as well.
