The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) drafted a list of professional bookmaking players, which bet while watching the game from stands. The players used the 20-seconds necessary for bookmakers for changing the odds. The list contains names of 15 players from different countries. It was passed to the Madrid Tournament (is to start on October 13) organizers. ATP recommended not to allow these players to the stands. Also, ATP advised tournament managers not to allow spectators to use notebooks for real-time bookmaking. To me, the decision is totally incorrect and unfair against these players. They are not breaking any law, they are simply enough smart to make money by bookmaking. It seems that ATP leaders have connections with bookmakers and are interested that people lose by betting, not win. Not nice at all.

I see nothing bad in the fact that people make stakes from their laptops by sitting on stadium stands. I wonder if there is a law to protect them.

As far as I know, bookmakers don't forbid their players to get informed from whatever source possible. The ATP has probably drafted that list because they want to remove this feeling of business from the atmosphere persisting during a match. Spectators want to see sports, not business.

You should know that all bookmakers have a black list of players that permanently win. Such players are usually banned and not allowed to play.

I know that Max. This practice has firstly been implemented by casinos. It's just that there are very and very lucky people, who simply can't lose. Their fate is to always win. That's why casinos/bookmakers can't afford to allow them make stakes.

yeah, well it hasn't become such a big problem, since they can easily change their name or find somebody they trust in order to use his name. But, in this case another problem appears - he will have to share his profit ((

well no maxximus, there is no way to protect them juridically, that's because the stadiums are private onwnership and if they are refused, the law doesn't protect them. |

yes tulaka, but it depends from what point of view the spectator assesses the situation. For example, if the things come to legal suit he can say she felt to be discriminated by the stadium owners, and thus, many things will back them, since the owner will be taken as a man discriminating his employees.

you're good at making frauds, max. Bookmaking offices, such as Bwin, will assess the risk of lawsuits and will not allow anybody to touch him
