Is love a universal language? on Paris forum< Love and jealousy | Mobiles wanted in London | Paris next month..... > |

I would like to date with a Chinese girl. I find them pretty sexy, their narrow eyes attracts me. Though, I doubt I could fall in love with that girl, that's because we have two different cultures and certainly won't understand each other.

Many believe love is a universal language that needs no explanation and is available in any country at any times. Do you believe that? I have doubts about it. If a couple don't understand each other's mother languages, then how can they settle many things with love? They can only be physically attracted by each other's beauties, but, obviously no communication is involved here. But, if there is no talk between a couple, the relationship won't last long.

Love is a feeeling first of all. Feelings are so strong often, that they need no language words. The love's words are kisses. When you kiss you don't need any explainations, do you?

I wouldn't say that if I didn't know that - I once was dating with a guy from Germany. He barely could speak English, we'd been dating for 1 month. But I didn't know he was a musician, because he was explaining me that in German. When I found out that, I left him :)

So what happened to you Barce? Have you been dating with a foreigner or what?
Maximus
I don't know about Barce, but I had been dating to a girl for a month, when I realized she doesn't even know exactly how to spell the city she lived in.

 Did it really matter for you where she was from, Max? You loved her and she loved her, what else do you need? Kisses are this language's words. Of course, later you can get know each other better. |

Well that's the point, I didn't love her, I just liked her but thought I do love her. It was a confusion, when I realized we are not a couple I felt easier.

Yeah, I had- And now he is my bf and I love him so much...! He is the best think that has happened to me! |
Cold_as_ice
Am really glad to hear that. But why did you earlier say you had a bad experience? |
barcelonaar
Because I had bad experiences too! I usually use Internet to know new people. You just have to be careful!
Maximus
well if you use the internet to know people then love will definitely not help you. The universal language here is an electronic translator. :)
barcelonaar
Hahaha, I see! Google is love, then?

The modern technology won't allow now two people not to understand each other. It's not the 19th century, you know. Besides I think everybody knows at least a bit of English

I better like the classical way of dating. It was so romantic indeed, and, the content was very much important.

people, just think how great it would be if we had a device that conveys the feelings of a person who fell for somebody. Imagine it like something connected to the ears (like headphones), which processes the information from another's brain and gives it to your brain.
