| French President Nicolas Sarkozy announced about a plan on backing the country's economy. Expected investment amount is 26 billion euros. According to Sarkozy's words, these investments will allow raising the French economy in 2009 by 0.6%.
The proposed document provides for allocating 1.3 billion euros to car industry. This action will cease massive layoffs at car factories. Moreover, 6.5 billion euros will be assigned for infrastructure development, that is railways, schools, hospitals. 11.5 billion more will go to tax refund. |
