Moving to Paris from Boston

Postby RaeRae1226 » 02 December 2009

Hi All,
In February 2010 I'll be moving to Paris from Boston and I need some advice. I'll basically be moving there without a visa. So, technically, after 3 months I'll be there illegally. Financially it won't be a problem because I have a steady income even though I'm not/won't be working there. Here's my question.... will it be hard for me to find a long term apartment rental (6 months - a year)? What would be the best way for me to go about looking for an apartment while there?
Thanks

Well you are probably already here, but for future readers, it is not haerd to find long term apartments, but you need to go through an agency and pay a fee. It's more expensive but possible.
