The apartment is on the the 1st floor of a Haussmanian building. There's an elevator. The apartment has been recently renovated (new paint and carpet). So, we are looking for someone who will enjoy living in clean (and mostly tidy) surroundings as much as we do.
There are 2 bathrooms, separate toilet and a kitchen which you'll share. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher and gas oven and stove. There is also a clothes washer and washing lines to dry your clothes.
You'll have telephone and internet (free calls to fixed lines in France). The cost of telephone/internet, electricity and gas is shared. Expected to be under 40 per month.
The room has beautiful doors that open onto a wide boulevard. The room gets sun all day. Although, there are shutters to keep the sun out for those "grasse matines/sleep-ins". It is available unfurnished. Because of the renovations, like the rest of the apartment, it has new carpet and is newly painted.
You will be living near Parc Monceau, which is one of the most beautiful parks in Paris. It is very popular with joggers. If your not a jogger, you can also enjoy the park, by sitting and reading the newspaper or a good book. There are supermarkets, markets and specialty stores nearby. In fact one of the best bakeries in Paris is just over the road.
You'll be sharing with 2 French and 1 Australian. We work and study.
